About Me
Prof. Rajeevan Chandel received Ph.D. degree from IIT Roorkee, India in 2005, M.Tech. degree in Integrated Electronics & Circuits from IIT Delhi in 1997. She received B.E. degree in E&CE from TIET (Thapar Univ) Patiala, India, in 1990. She is a double gold medalist of HP Univ., Shimla, India, in Pre-Univ. and Pre-Engg., in 1985 and 1986, respectively. Dr. Chandel joined the DoECE, NIT Hamirpur, as a lecturer in August 1991, where presently she is working as a Professor and has been HOD for two tenures. Dr. Chandel has been Dean (R&C), and Dean (Academic), NIT Hamirpur. She is presently Transparency Officer of NITH. Prof. Chandel is IETE Awardee for the years 2017 & 2023, received prestigious IETE Awards, along with her students. She has 02 patents, seven sponsored projects, over 100 research papers in refereed Journals & over 150 in Conferences, has guided 9 PhD Thesis, 69 M.Tech. Dissertations & numerous UG projects. Her research interests are Low Power VLSI Design, VLSI Interconnects, Circuit & Device modeling and simulation, and others.
